Financial Services Business Development Manager
WORK HOURS 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. 
REPORTS TO Sr. VP of Product Management and Marketing

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 5 years business sales experience
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Ability to verbally articulate a concept and intangible ideas.
  • Strong business acumen and decision making ability.
  • Strong training development and delivery skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels within an organization.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel) and web products.

  • Create and execute a business plan to increase the use of GreatAmerica financing during the sale process.
  • Achieve sales goals by effectively collaborating with Jenne sales team members and channel personnel.
  • Develop and deliver tools, training and resources to increase awareness and knowledge of financing solutions.
  • Influencing the mindset of sales team members and resellers to utilize financing as the optimal payment solution for their customers.
  • Developing creative financing solutions to differentiate Jenne and close more business.
  • Hitting sales targets through direct and indirect sales efforts.

  • Develop 2 year business plan to increase the penetration of financing used in the sales process.
  • Responsible for developing and delivering strategies to hit quarterly financing sales targets.
  • Research industry needs and collaborate with internal and external personnel to develop and deliver creative financing solutions.
  • Create training programs to educate Jenne team members and partners on the benefits and uses of financing.
  • Use different medium (i.e. in person, web based, etc.) to deliver financing training programs.
  • Establish positive working relationships with Jenne personnel and identify opportunities to add value in customer accounts.
  • Become involved, build credibility, and maintain regular communication with all levels of leadership and sales throughout Jenne.
  • Recommend strategies to increase the likelihood that financing options are consistently offered by Jenne sales personnel.
  • Serve as a financing subject matter expert and leverage expertise to get the optimal deals done.
  • Work with Marketing personnel to develop marketing materials and sales aids to assist in the sales process.
  • Lead the effective roll out of new financing sales programs / solutions.
  • Effectively and promptly resolve customer issues.
  • On-board new resellers to educate them on financing solutions.
  • Complete accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecast.
  • Other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned as the job requirements dictate.

TRAVEL: Travel up to 15% of time to visit customers and participate in industry events.

  • Ability to sit a computer terminal for long periods of time
  • Ability to be physically in attendance at workstation at designated company office location during normal business hours designated for the position
  • Ability to lift 10 pounds
